York Street Branch

Thanks to our renovation/construction project, the Quincy Public Library is once again able to combine all of our services under one roof.  All of the services formerly at the York Street Branch are now located in the Senior Services Area of our newly renovated Main Library, including large print and regular print books, videos, music CDs, DVD's, magazines, newspapers, and books on CD.  We would like to thank the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center for being such a great host and neighbor to our York Street Branch.

Computers for Public Use
Computers with standard software, Internet access, and printers are available for public use in the Senior Services Area.

Large Print Books
If you have difficulty reading normal size print, our large print books and periodicals may be just what you need. The Library has over 9,000 large print books available. The collection includes biographies, romance, westerns, nonfiction, mysteries and religious books.

CCTV

A Closed Circuit Television is available for patron use at the Main Library in the Senior Services Area.  This machine enlarges whatever is placed under its scanner.  Books, magazines, newspapers, bills, prescription labels and pictures can be enlarged and viewed on the screen.
