York Street Branch

A wide variety of material is available at the York Street Branch, including large print and regular print books, videos, music CDs, DVD's, magazines, newspapers, and books on tape.

Computers for Public Use
Computers with standard software, Internet access, and printers are available for public use at the branch. An after-hours book drop is located in the south hallway outside the Branch entrance.

Large Print Books
The York Street Branch now houses the majority of the large print collection. A smaller collection may be found at the Main Library at 526 Jersey Street.

If you have difficulty reading normal size print, our large print books and periodicals may be just what you need. The Library has over 9,000 large print books available. The collection includes biographies, romance, westerns, nonfiction, mysteries and religious books.

CCTV

A Closed Circuit Television is available for patron use at the York Street Branch.  This machine enlarges whatever is placed under its scanner.  Books, magazines, newspapers, bills, prescription labels and pictures can be enlarged and viewed on the screen.
