Quincy Historical Newspaper Archive needs your help!

This project received funding from an LSTA grant– in the amount of $150,000. This grant provided funding to license the software, purchase the hardware that hosts the newspaper images, and to digitize about 55 years of newspapers.

This enabled the Library to digitize newspapers from 1835 to 1890.  In order to continue into the 20th century, we need your help!

We hope that you will consider making a contribution. Each dollar you contribute allows us to digitize at least one page of a newspaper. The Quincy Historical Newspaper Archive is a part of the Quincy Public Library Mary Weems Barton Foundation, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, and your contributions are tax deductible.
