What is the Friends of the Library?
The Friends of the Quincy Public Library is a non-profit organization that supports the Library by establishing a closer relationship between the Library and the people it serves. The Friends assume various projects and sponsor special Library events that are open to the public. The Friends meet regularly throughout the year to discuss organization business.
Book Sale Committee
Coordinates the
bi-annual book sale.
Next Book Sale:
October 7, 8, 9, & 10, 2010,
at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center.
Traveling Books Committee
Provides free books for travelers at
Baldwin Field, the train depot, and bus depot.
EBAY Committee
Collects and posts rare and collectable
books on EBAY.
Program Committee
Schedules speakers & presentations for bi-monthly Friends meetings.
Public Relations Committee
Markets and promotes
Friends events and
activities.
