Photos in the archive are available to view or purchase for research or publication. Photos are available digitally through the Illinois Digital Archives. A hard-copy print-out of the photos may be viewed in QPL’s Illinois Room.
You may submit photos for possible inclusion in the archive, pending review of the submitted photos for historical significance.
Photos in the archive are primarily from 1850-1950 and include pictures of people, businesses, churches, entertainment, government, homes, and street scenes.
