Homebound Services are available to any library patron temporarily or permanently unable to visit the library due to a visual or physical disability. To get started, fill out the application below, or call 217-223-1309, ext 504.
For individuals who are unable to read standard print due to visual or physical limitations, our Outreach Specialists can also help patrons sign up for the Talking Books and Braille Service over the phone, making the enrollment process simple and accessible. Patrons just need to provide basic information, and our team will guide them through the necessary steps to begin receiving materials directly to their homes.

Talking Books and Braille Service
Talking Books and Braille Service (TBBS) is a free program that provides audio and braille books to individuals who are unable to read standard print due to visual or physical limitations. This service allows patrons to borrow audiobooks and braille materials by mail, with all equipment provided at no cost.
