Program Description

Event Details

Join us for an engaging storytelling experience featuring a professional African American storyteller who brings to life traditional African and African-American tales. Enjoy a lively presentation of animal stories—featuring classic characters like Ananse the Spider, Hare, Monkey, Bre’r Rabbit, and more—that journeyed across oceans and generations through the rich oral tradition.

Discover the humor, wisdom, and cultural heritage woven into these timeless stories as they are shared in the way they were meant to be heard: spoken, animated, and full of life.

This program is designed primarily for adults, but all ages are welcome to enjoy this immersive celebration of storytelling!
