Monday's 9:00am - 11:00am & Wednesday's 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Join us for a playdate at the library! Play stations will be set up for your child(ren) to play with you and other children and their caregivers.

Do you love to try new recipes? Do you love cookbooks? Or are you a beginning cook who wants to learn, and share experiences with other cooks?

Toddler Time familiarizes toddlers with Library resources using music, songs, and playtime. This program is designed for children ages 16 months to 36 months, but all are welcome to attend.

Renaissance Readers meet at 10:00 am on the second Tuesday of each month.

This month's book selection is Murder by the Book by Rex Stout.

You asked, we listened! For those of you who could not/cannot attend evening programs due to work, we are repeating this program during the daytime so evening shift workers can gain from it as well!

It's Teen Time! Snacks, crafts, games, and more! 

Finally, some place you can escape to after school without younger siblings getting in your way.

Join us at QPL’s first Minecraft Club. This unstructured program allows children to relax after school and play Minecraft with friends using the library’s Nintendo Switch Lites! Participants can bring their own devices to the program as well.

Join the Quincy Public Library and Illinois Libraries Present (ILP) for another amazing virtual program! Attend this virtual event with Matthew Desmond by joining us in the library to watch it on the big screen, or watch from home.

Baby Time is a lap-sit storytime for babies (birth-16 months) and their parents/caregivers, including books, rhymes, and songs. This program targets babies ages birth-16 months, but all are welcome to attend.

Bring your friends to hang out, chat, and build with Legos. Each week, a theme will be given that club members can create, or you can make what you want. We will build for 45 minutes, clean up, and then share our creations (if you wish to).

Preschool Time incorporates thematic books, music, and more during 45-minute sessions. The theme for this week's storytime is cool cats. This program is designed for children ages 3 and up, but all are welcome to attend.

Tonight, you will flex your creative muscles by creating art using glue and a variety of dried beans. All QPL programs are free and open to the public, but supplies are limited; reservations are requested.
