Quincy Public Library Closing Early (5:00PM) on September 19th

Quincy Public Library will be closing at 5:00PM on September 19th to kick off Big Read 2024 at Washington Park. Stop by a grab a FREE copy of The Bear by Andrew Krivak or I'm With Me by local author Ron Kinscherf for younger readers.

Event Details

Tonight, we will be reading the book, "Owlet's First Flight!" by Mitra Modarressi in the Craft Corner in the Children's Department before creating a craft inspired by the book. Process art focuses on the process of creating art rather than the end result of the craft. This program is targeted for children ages 3-6 years old, but all are welcome to attend.  All QPL programs are free and open to the public, but space is limited; reservations are requested.
