Home Delivery Service is available to any library patron temporarily or permanently unable to visit the library due to a visual or physical disability.

We can deliver:
- Books
- Large-print books
- DVDs
- CDs
- Audiobooks
You may request specific titles or just tell us what your preferences are and we will make selections for you to enjoy. We track the items you’ve borrowed so you will have fresh selections delivered.
Additional Services
Additional services may be available for patrons with visual or physical disabilities.
- Newsline – provides audio versions of daily national newspapers using speech created by computers. Users dial-in on the telephone and select a newspaper.
- Talking Books – Quincy Public Library assists eligible individuals with the application process for talking books for the blind and physically handicapped program. The free Talking Book service provides digitally recorded books and a machine on which to play them. Talking Books are available to patrons who are unable to read conventional printed material due to:
- visual impairments or
- physical disabilities that prevent holding a book or turning pages.
- Radio Information Service – provides a free special radio receiver to eligible users so they can listen to volunteers read national and local newspapers.
