He rose to fame in the tv show Dr. Kildare & continued to act in various miniseries - Centennial, the Thorn Birds, Shogun. Chamberlain was the original Jason Bourne in the first movie version of The Bourne Identity, a role later picked up by Matt Damon. Jay North was born August 3, 1951 & passed away April 6, 2025. He is worth mentioning due to the fact that he was the original Dennis the Menace when the show premiered in 1959. North was with the show for its entire run. The show was based on the comic strip but has also spawned subsequent remakes. North succumbed to colorectal cancer, which he had been battling for several years.
