Diane Keaton was born as Diane Hall on January 5, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother won the Mrs. Los Angeles pageant & the theatricality of the event inspired her first desires to become an actress & ultimately the desire to work on stage.

Robert Redford was born August 18, 1936. During his formative years, he spent a good amount of time visiting family in Texas - time & space to which he attributed his interest in & desire to take care of the environment.

A slightly delayed Memorial Monday but there are a few passings of note. Graham Greene (the actor), designer Giorgio Armani, & Katharine, Duchess of Kent.

A couple of big names from the arts have passed away - Greg Iles & Terence Stamp. They aren't names you would naturally put together. One is American, while the other is British. One is an actor & one is an author. But both made large contributions to their fields.

Last week was definitely one where things came in threes. Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne, & Hulk Hogan all passed away within the span of just a few days.
