Robert Carradine was born March 24, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of actor John Carradine, brother of actors David & Keith Carradine, brother of Walt Disney Imagineering VP Christopher Carradine, & uncle to Martha Plimpton. Robert was one of many Carradines to be a creative in Hollywood.
Different generations will remember Robert Carradine in different capacities - some might remember him from the Revenge of the Nerds movies (especially Considering he was in Revenge of the Nerds, Revenge of the Nerds II, Revenge of the Nerds III, & Revenge of the Nerds IV), while others will remember him from Lizzie McGuire (since he played Lizzie's dad in both the show & the movie.) Carradine also showed up in Escape from LA, Max Keeble's Big Move, Django Unchained, & Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt. He also lived with Bipolar disorder for a very long time & passed away due to suicide on February 23, 2026.
