Welcome to Part Two of QPL's Self-Sufficiency Series: Watering Methods and Conservation

Water is the most important element to all life, and plants are no exception.  Dry, hot summers wreak havoc on garden crops, and watering your garden can easily double-- or even triple-- your water bill. In Illinois, we have been experiencing at least mild drought every summer for the last few years.

Learn how to water your garden efficiently using a variety of methods that conserve water, save you money, and help your plants thrive in dry weather. We will cover from drip irrigation, upcycling household discards, much more!

This is part of a series of six programs. QPL wants to give you the opportunity to learn as much as you can during this series. Anyone who attends all six programs will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card!
