Welcome to Part Three of QPL's Self-Sufficiency Series: Before the Crops Come In!

You may have harvested some early Spring crops like lettuce, or some fast-growing things like radishes or lettuce, but now it's almost time for your warm-weather plants to produce fruit! Tomatoes, squash, peppers, and many others, when given a little TLC about this time in the season, can produce much more!

Learn how to trim extra branches, keep weeds down, succession plant, hill potatoes, deadhead, and other garden tasks to keep your plants healthy and boost production!

You also will learn about those annoying "weeds" you keep pulling, which ones are edible, and how to prepare them to make the most out of your garden space! You'll find the majority of weeds you pull out of your garden can either be eaten or useful in the garden!

Weeds also tell a story! Learn what the weeds can tell you about your soil health!

This is the 3rd in a series of six programs. QPL wants to give you the opportunity to learn as much as you can during this series. Anyone who attends all six programs will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card!
