Welcome to Part Six of QPL's Self-Sufficiency Series: Saving Your Seed for the Future

Humans have been saving seeds for as long as they have been growing crops. Seed-saving ensures that you have seed for your next year's crop, preserves heirloom varieties for future generations, and protects your wallet from the costs of rebuying seeds or plants every year! Store-bought seed packages are always dated the current year, but most seeds can be used for multiple years-- some even as long as 10 years!

Learn how to save seeds from a variety of fruits and veggies, from tomatoes to broccoli. We will discuss safe methods of seed saving that preserve the integrity of heirloom seeds and how to store seeds so they remain viable for years to come.

This is the final of a series of six programs. QPL wants to give you the opportunity to learn as much as you can during this series. Anyone who attends all six programs will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card!
