Diane Keaton was born as Diane Hall on January 5, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother won the Mrs. Los Angeles pageant & the theatricality of the event inspired her first desires to become an actress & ultimately the desire to work on stage.

Robert Redford was born August 18, 1936. During his formative years, he spent a good amount of time visiting family in Texas - time & space to which he attributed his interest in & desire to take care of the environment.

Trail of Tears Commemoration

The Trail of Tears was just one of several moments of displacement & removal of Native Americans from their ancestral lands and is commemorated on September 16th.

Brian Wilson passed away on June 11th. Many of us grew up listening to his music with the Beach Boys - whether it was when they were actively creating or because our parents were fans & made us listen to it. The music definitely gives off summer vibes & hits us right in the nostalgia.
